Zakopane doesn’t have its own airport – the nearest ones are Kraków and Katowice, both roughly 1.5–2.5 hours away by road. Arranging that leg before you land removes one of the more stressful parts of arriving somewhere new, especially with ski bags and kids in tow.
Which Airports Are Covered
GO!Ski arranges transfers from Kraków Balice, Kraków’s main train/bus stations (PKS/PKP), and Katowice Pyrzowice – the three most common arrival points for international guests heading to Zakopane.
What’s Actually Included
Transfers are carried out in high-class vehicles by licensed drivers, and every transfer is insured. The companies and drivers GO!Ski works with specialize in individual clients, families, and organized groups alike, and the service is provided in both Polish and English – useful if you need to communicate a flight delay or a change of plans on the way.
Pricing Scales With Group Size
Transfer prices are banded by number of passengers (1–3, 4–8, 9–14, 15–18, and 19–23 people), so a family transfer and a group booking are both covered without needing a custom quote. Rates differ slightly by pickup point – Kraków Balice, Kraków PKS/PKP, and Katowice Pyrzowice each have their own price band. See the price list for current figures.
Booking It Alongside Everything Else
Since GO!Ski’s offer is comprehensive, a transfer booking pairs naturally with ski or snowboard rental, clothing rental, and lessons or courses – all arranged through the same reservation process rather than juggling separate providers.
