Ski & Snowboard Courses in Zakopane: What Each Day Actually Covers

“Lessons” and “courses” get used almost interchangeably, but at GO!Ski they’re two different products. A lesson is a flexible, single booking. A course is a structured multi-day program with a set curriculum, built to take a complete beginner from zero to confidently skiing or riding down a real slope by the end of it. Here’s exactly what a course covers, day by day.

The Basic Course, Day by Day

The Basic Course for beginners runs 3 days of skiing (or snowboarding), 6 hours of lessons total, 2 hours per day:

Day 1 – First steps. A lesson on a gentle slope, perfect for a first day (Gigant, Nosal). Covers putting on and fastening boots, carrying your skis, moving on skis, turning around, safe falling and getting up, snowplow braking, basic turns, and riding the button lift.
Day 2 – You’re a skier. Moves to a slope with two tracks – one gentle, one slightly steeper (Nosal, Polana Biały Potok, Harenda). Builds on day one with parallel turns (skis hip-width apart) and a parallel stop.
Day 3 – Skiing from a big hill. A slope at least 1,000 m long with chairlift access (Witów, Suche, Harenda, Małe Ciche). Further develops parallel skiing with basic carving elements and short-turn exercises.

Snowboard courses follow the same 3-day structure, adapted for board-specific skills from the first day.

The Complete Course, for Going Further

For guests who want to build on the basics, the Complete Course extends to 4 days of skiing (or snowboarding) and 8 hours of lessons, continuing the progression beyond where the Basic Course leaves off.

Group Size and Instructors

For groups of 1–4 people, lessons are led by one instructor. For groups of 5–8 people, two instructors lead the course, so class size doesn’t dilute the attention each person gets. Pricing scales with group size – see the price list for the current rates.

Who a Course Is Actually For

If you’re starting from zero and want a clear, structured path rather than piecing lessons together as you go, a course gives you that: a fixed curriculum, a known number of hours, and a predictable outcome by day three. If you just want occasional coaching or have irregular availability, individual lessons (covered in our ski lessons guide) are the more flexible option.
