Zakopane — Poland’s Winter Capital
Zakopane, located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, is Poland’s most popular ski resort town. It combines highlander tradition (the distinctive wooden Zakopane style architecture by Witkiewicz) with modern tourist infrastructure, attracting skiers and snowboarders from across the country and abroad.
