It’s a great opportunity to reserve comprehensive snowboard courses at GO!Ski Zakopane, tailored specifically for you. Under the guidance of a professional instructor, you will spend several days perfecting your snowboarding technique on various ski slopes in Zakopane and the surrounding areas. This format of snowboard lessons enables you to achieve the best results in mastering snowboarding techniques while introducing necessary variety through visiting and training on different slopes.

BASIC COURSE FOR BEGINNER SNOWBOARDERS

(3 days of snowboarding, 6 hours of snowboard lessons)

Day 1 - First steps

Lesson on a gentle slope, perfect for the first day of snowboarding (Gigant, Nosal). Learning the basics of snowboarding. Lesson (2 hours):

Putting on and fastening snowboard boots. Exercises without the board on the slope—finding the correct stance: straight riding, frontside, backside, and learning safe falling techniques. Exercises with the board, with the front foot strapped in and the back foot unstrapped: straight riding, frontside, backside. The same exercise with both feet strapped to the board. Learning to brake using sliding techniques: frontside and backside slides. Finally, combining all elements—sliding turns.

Day 2 - I’m a snowboarder

Lesson on a slope with at least two tracks—a gentle slope and a slightly steeper one (Nosal, Polana Biały Potok or Harenda). Lesson (2 hours):

Improving the skills learned on the first day through a variety of exercises, learning to ride the button lift, and exercises introducing edge riding techniques.

Day 3 - Skiing from a big hill

Lesson on a slope at least 1000 meters long, accessible by chairlift—an easy trail with some steeper sections (Witów, Suche, Harenda or Małe Ciche). Lesson (2 hours):

Refining the skills acquired on the second day, focusing on edge riding techniques.

Refining all learned snowboarding techniques practiced on both gentle and steep slopes. Focus on edge riding. This session serves as the summary and essence of the entire snowboard course.

COURSE FOR INTERMEDIATE SNOWBOARDERS

(2 days of snowboarding, 4 hours of snowboard lessons)

Day 1 - Time for real training

Lesson on a slope at least 1000 meters long, with participants accessing the top via chairlift—an easy trail with some steeper sections (Witów, Suche, Małe Ciche or Harenda). Lesson (4 hours):

Refining sliding turn techniques through a variety of exercises, including techniques introducing edge riding.

Day 2 - You’re a good snowboarder

Lesson on slopes suitable for intermediate and advanced riders. Choose from red and black runs, at least 1000 meters long (Witów, Suche, Małe Ciche or Harenda). Lesson (4 hours):

Practicing sliding turns on a steep slope, learning to ride on edges, and techniques for skiing on ice and moguls. In intermediate and advanced snowboarding, there are moments where mistakes can lead to falls, so the instructor pays close attention to every detail during the exercises performed by the participant.

COURSE FOR ADVANCED SNOWBOARDERS

Day 1 - Skills assessment

Lesson on slopes for intermediate and advanced riders. Choose from red and black runs, at least 1000 meters long (Harenda). Lesson (2 hours):

Refining sliding turn techniques on a steep slope with varying radii. Techniques for skiing on ice and moguls. The instructor will assess and verify the participant’s technical skills before training on Kasprowy Wierch.

Day 2 - Skiing like a pro

Lessons on black and red runs (Kasprowy Wierch—the largest ski slopes in Poland). Choose from the Goryczkowy and Gąsienicowy slopes. Lesson (4 hours):

Training for experienced snowboarders who, under the instructor’s guidance, want to practice and ensure their snowboarding technique is strong. The set of exercises presents a challenge for the participant while adhering to all safety regulations.

Lesson at a ski and snowboard center with various trails for beginners, intermediates, and advanced snowboarders—Białka Tatrzańska. Lesson (4 hours):

Exercises with the board, with the front foot strapped in and the back foot unstrapped: straight riding, frontside, backside. The same exercise with both feet strapped to the board. Learning to brake using sliding techniques: frontside and backside slides. Finally, combining all elements—sliding turns. Learning to ride the button lift and introductory exercises for edge riding.

For intermediates

Refining sliding turn techniques, learning to ride on edges. A variety of exercises that allow participants to master the key details of snowboarding technique.

It is best to make reservations several weeks in advance, especially during peak tourist periods such as the holidays and New Year (from December 24 to January 5) and winter break (from January 15 to February 28). These are the times when Zakopane sees the highest number of visitors.
