We warmly invite you to book one of GO!Ski Zakopane’s comprehensive ski courses. We have created optimal conditions for multi-day training sessions on various ski slopes in Zakopane and the surrounding areas. This versatile approach to ski training provides the ideal opportunity to master and refine your skiing technique while enjoying the variety of exploring different slopes.

BASIC COURSE FOR BEGINNER SKIERS

(3 days of skiing, 6 hours of ski lessons)

Day 1 - First steps

Lesson on a gentle slope, perfect for the first day of skiing (Gigant, Nosal). Basic skiing skills.

Putting on and fastening ski boots, technique for carrying skis on your shoulder, fastening and unfastening skis on the slope, moving uphill on skis, turning around on skis, learning safe falling techniques and how to get up after a fall, snowplow braking, basic snowplow and half-snowplow turns, and learning to ride the button lift.

Day 2 - You’re a skier

Lesson on a slope with at least two tracks—a gentle slope and a slightly steeper one (Nosal, Polana Biały Potok, Harenda). Lesson (2 hours):

Improving skills from the first day with a set of different exercises, learning the basics of parallel turns (skis hip-width apart), and braking using a parallel stop—stop turn.

Day 3 - Skiing from a big hill

Lesson on a slope at least 1000 meters long, with chairlift access to the top—an easy trail, with some slightly steeper sections (Witów, Suche, Harenda, Małe Ciche). Lesson (2 hours):

Further development of skills learned on the second day. Parallel skiing with basic carving elements and exercises for short-turn skiing.

Day 4 - Skiing is my passion

Lesson at a ski center with a variety of trails for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiers (Witów, Harenda, Suche or Małe Ciche). Lesson (2 hours):

Refining all skiing techniques learned, practiced on both gentle and steep slopes. This is the summary and culmination of the entire ski course. Introduction to carving and initial carving exercises (skiing on edges).

INTERMEDIATE SKIERS COURSE

(2 days of skiing, 4 hours of ski lessons)

Day 1 - Time for real training

Lesson on a slope at least 1000 meters long, accessible by chairlift—a mostly easy trail with some steeper sections (Witów, Suche, Małe Ciche, Harenda). Lesson (2 hours):

Practicing parallel skiing with carving elements. Short-turn skiing exercises. A variety of exercises designed to help the participant master key details in skiing technique.

Day 2 - You’re a skilled skier

Lesson on intermediate and advanced slopes. Choose from red and black runs, approximately 1000 meters in length (Witów, Suche, Małe Ciche, Harenda). Lesson (2 hours):

Refining parallel turn techniques with varying turn radii (carving and short turns). Techniques for skiing on ice and moguls.

ADVANCED SKIERS COURSE

(2 days of skiing, 6 hours of ski lessons)

Day 1 - Experience the thrill of skiing

Lesson on intermediate and advanced slopes. Choose from red and black runs, approximately 1000 meters in length (Harenda). Lesson (2 hours):

Refining parallel turn techniques with varying turn radii (carving and short turns). Techniques for skiing on ice and moguls. The instructor will assess and verify the participant’s technical skills before training on Kasprowy Wierch.

Day 2 - Skiing like a pro

Lesson on red and black runs (Kasprowy Wierch—the largest ski slopes in Poland). Choose between the Goryczkowy and Gąsienicowy slopes. Lesson (4 hours):

Training for advanced skiers who, under the instructor’s guidance, want to ensure their skiing technique is strong. Scope of the lesson includes carving turns with varying radii, short turns, skiing on ice and moguls, and the basics of sport skiing techniques.

Refining parallel turn techniques with varying radii (carving and short turns). Techniques for skiing on ice and moguls. The instructor will assess and verify the participant’s technical skills before training on Kasprowy Wierch.

For beginners

Putting on and fastening ski boots, carrying skis on your shoulder, fastening and unfastening skis on the slope, moving uphill on skis, turning around, learning safe falling techniques and how to get up, snowplow braking, basic snowplow and half-snowplow turns, and learning to use the button and chair lifts. Practice and reinforcement of learned skills on different ski trails.

For intermediates

Practicing parallel skiing with carving elements. Short-turn skiing exercises. A variety of drills designed to help participants master the key aspects of skiing technique.

It is best to make reservations several weeks in advance, especially during peak tourist periods such as the holidays and New Year (from December 24 to January 5) and winter break (from January 15 to February 28). These are the times when Zakopane sees the highest number of visitors.
